My faith has found a resting-place, not in device nor creed;

I trust the Ever-living One, His wounds for me shall plead.

I need no other argument, I need no other plea,

It’s enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me.

My faith has been the testing-ground

of all the trials I’ve seen

What I thought was clear to me

 I’ve struggled to believe.

To walk with You with all my heart – is all I ever dreamed,

But I will not live a lie – but open up my eyes..

I have followed You – all of my life, You’ve been my guide.

Every troubled time, You were nearby

You were my resting place, O Lord –

  • You have kept me safe – I will rest in You, I will rest in You

My trust in You goes deeper now

You hear my fear and doubt;

My struggle over what is true

The truth will be brought out.

  • I will be responsible – no longer tossed about;

My goal is finding You – until You can be found.
