Redeemer and Savior

Verse 1

O God of Grace, mercy so great

In my unworthy state You come and choose me

I try to hide – what’s unclean inside

In the midst of my pride –  Your voice comes to me

Chorus 1

“I have taken you and called to you – to be a servant to Me

I have chosen you, not rejected you – for you are precious to Me

Even though you find that you have nothing inside

Your help and your strength is from Me

You leave your pride, that I be glorified

You’ll know that I am the One who redeems.”

Verse 2

And I seem to see the way that You lead

Is higher than anything I’ll ever reach

You could easily find those stronger than I

How can it be that still You choose me  –  And You say:

Chorus 2

”I have taken you, and called to you – to be a servant to Me

I have chosen you, not rejected you – for you are precious to Me

So don’t be afraid, nor your heart be dismayed

Your help and your strength is from Me

I will lift you high and you will surely find

That I Am the One who redeems”

The Holy One, my Redeemer and Savior I see!

O Holy One!  My Redeemer and Savior I see!
